Promega Summer Art Showcase Presents “Collections Unveiled”

Exhibit showcases artwork from three notable private collections

Madison, WI USA. (May 23, 2024)

The Promega Summer Art Showcase will celebrate the unique blend of creativity and expression from the world of art collectors in an exhibition titled “Collections Unveiled.” The exhibit will highlight three private art collections, each offering exploration of the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary art.

"Collections Unveiled" Collections:

  • The Erdman Family collection, known for its discerning taste and a keen eye for emerging talents, will share a selection that emphasizes innovation and the transformative power of art. Erdman is nationally recognized for procuring fine art original limited-edition prints, made by traditional printmaking techniques and integrating that art within the healthcare sector.
  • The diverse collection of former gallery owner and influential collector Stephane Janssen spans many decades. Janssen, who purchased his first painting in 1952 when he was 16, is known for his unwavering support of artists and their creations. Selections from his collection will provide a journey through the evolution of work by three contemporary artists and their contributions to modern art. These works provide a tiny glimpse of the works in his vast art collection.
  • The Promega Corporate Art Collection is curated to inspire creativity and innovation within the company’s community, featuring works that reflect the intersection of science, nature and human experience. Through a selection of paintings, sculptures and installations, the collection demonstrates how art can enrich lives and stimulate intellectual and emotional exploration.
