Change Configuration

Upon purchase of the Maxprep® Liquid Handler, the instrument will be covered by a one-year Standard Warranty. The Standard Warranty covers all parts and labor. Additionally, it includes one annual on-site Preventive Maintenance visit by a service technician*.

If you need additional coverage during the one-year Standard Warranty period, a Premier Warranty Upgrade is available. The Premier Warranty Upgrade includes all parts, labor and on-site service visits by a factory-trained service technician within 2 business days (where available). Additionally, it includes one annual on-site Preventive Maintenance visit by a service technician*. Additional Preventive Maintenance visits are available separately.

Once the initial one-year Standard Warranty has expired, there are several options for continuing service coverage.

Maxprep® Liquid Handler Standard Service Agreement

The Standard Service Agreement covers all parts, labor and on-site visits. The system will be repaired and returned to original factory specifications. Additionally, it includes one annual on-site Preventive Maintenance visit by a service technician. Additional Preventive Maintenance visits are available separately.

Maxprep® Liquid Handler Premier Service Agreement

The Premier Service Agreement includes all parts, labor and on-site visits conducted by a Promega Service Technician within 2 business days** of a service visit deemed necessary by Promega Technical Services. The system will be repaired and returned to its original factory specifications. Additionally, the Premier Service Agreement includes one annual on-site Preventative Maintenance visit by a service technician.

Maxprep® Liquid Handler Preventive Maintenance

To keep the system operation at peak performance, Promega recommends that Maxprep® Liquid Handlers receive a Preventive Maintenance check at least every 12 months of use. During this procedure, our qualified service personnel test the instrument, check parts for wear and replace them as needed. Additionally, the system is aligned and functionality is verified. Documentation for your files is provided. The Preventive Maintenance service is performed by scheduling an on-site Preventive Maintenance visit.

Maxprep® Liquid Handler Premier Warranty Upgrade*

The Premier Warranty Upgrade includes all parts, labor and on-site service visits by a factory-trained service technician within 2 business days (where available). Additionally, it includes one annual on-site Preventive Maintenance visit by a service technician. Additional Preventive Maintenance visits are available separately.

*Only available for the first year after purchase. May not be available in all countries. Contact your local Promega representative for more information.

**Promega operates an initial triage process which can include analysis of log files to allow remote resolution of instrument issues before an on-site service technician is dispatched for issues involving Promega instruments including the Maxprep®, Spectrum and Spectrum Compact instruments. The response time is calculated from when Technical Services determines if on-site support is needed.
